01Scope

This policy covers Locale accounts, inference, Agent tools and enabled hosting. It does not enable paused features. Follow applicable law, Locale terms, others' rights and your providers' restrictions.

02Illegal and harmful activity

Do not use Locale for child sexual abuse material or exploitation, credible threats, unlawful violence, fraud, phishing, unlawful discrimination, nonconsensual intimate content or other illegal activity. Do not distribute malware, steal credentials, impersonate others deceptively, violate intellectual property or privacy rights, or knowingly facilitate such activity. Never upload illegal material when reporting abuse.

03Security and resource boundaries

Do not evade authentication, permissions, balances, expiry, billing, rate limits or provider safeguards; access another person's account or files without authority; extract private service credentials; send spam; or disrupt infrastructure. Testing must stay within systems you own or have explicit permission to assess and must not affect other customers. Automated requests and agent groups remain subject to the same limits. No cryptocurrency mining, proxy resale or generic hosting on shared resources without express written permission.

04Content and tools

Submit only content and connect only systems you are authorized to use. Obtain required notices and consents before processing another person's information. Review commands, file edits, external actions and generated outputs before authorizing consequential use. Do not submit payment card data, government identifiers or highly sensitive regulated records unless the selected workflow is specifically authorized and legally suitable. Locale is not an emergency service or a certified system for regulated or safety-critical decisions.

05Publishing and third parties

If hosting is expressly enabled, you are responsible for published material, visitor notices, required permissions and lawful handling of visitor data. Do not publish deceptive services or expose another person's confidential information. A connected provider's separate acceptable-use requirements apply to requests sent to it. You may not use a provider integration to avoid that provider's restrictions.

06Enforcement and review

We may proportionately limit access or content, preserve evidence and respond to lawful requests to address violations or urgent risks. Where practicable and lawful, we give reasons and offer review. Send reports or appeals with relevant identifiers to accounts@uselocale.dev, without secrets, illegal attachments or unrelated personal data. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
